Welcome back to Relay for Life of Greater Shelby Township for another year of bringing our community together to end cancer as we know it. This year’s event will take place on Saturday May 17 11am – 11pm at River Bends Park located at 5700 22 Mile Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48317.
This year’s theme: This year we are all about the “Rummage for Relay”! We are shaking it up and asking all teams to bring their best gently used items to sell as their on site fundraisers. We are also on the look out for crafters and vintage sellers to join us. Spaces will be 12’x12′ and cost $25. When you add these to our ever popular Silent Auction, we will have a shopper’s paradise.
Fundraisers
Superbowl Squares: Team Final Round is selling Superbowl Squares for $10 each. 50% of all money raised with be given in prizes and 50% will go to Team Final Round’s fundraising efforts. Text team captain Carry Price at 586.557.7455 for more info and to make a purchase.
2024 Meeting Schedule:
Attending meetings introduces you to your fellow Relayers and gets you up to speed on all your Relay needs. This next meeting is all about logistics and picking your campsite.
Where: Shelby Township Activities Center – 14975 21 Mile Rd, Shelby Twp.
Who: Everyone!
When: Thursday May16 6:00-7:30 – Last meeting before Relay! Bring any money you’ve collected and get all your questions answered. Open house style meeting so stay as long as you’d like!
Wrap Up Meeting: June 13 at Shelby Township Activities Center 7:00 pm. Details to follow!
