Relay Neighborhood
It’s me again, Carolyn from the Relay for Life Silent Auction! I hope you have been considering donating an item (or two!) to our event NEXT MONTH! I’ve heard back from some of you and I’d love to help with any questions you may have. I hope you can contribute to this FUN part of an already FUN day! If you have been to our event before you know the auction has a lot of fun and diverse items to bid on. And if you are a first time Relayer – I can’t wait for you to check it out! If contributing, here are some bullet points to remember:
⁃ I will assign you a “drop off time” for your items (sometime between 9:30 – 12). At that point, you will bring your COMPLETED bid sheet and I will assign your item(s) a number and check you in!
⁃ Bid sheets are available at our meetings, I will have some the day of the event but it’s preferred that everything is done and ready to go at check in time
⁃ The auction runs from 12:30 – 4:30
⁃ Winners are announced (via whiteboard outside the auction) around 5:15
⁃ Payment and pickup is 5:15 – 6:30
⁃ If your item does not sell it will be returned back to you after everything is accounted for.
⁃ During the course of the day I might contact you to lower the price of your item so we can sell it and raise some cancer fighting dollars!
⁃ Whatever you sell will be credited to your team! I will deliver your earnings after I have all my items squared away!
